4/5 We show that spline-regression / #GAM outperforms other approaches - and that not modelling overlap or duration is not an option (here shown one simulation, but many more in the preprint)

3/5 One complication: Durations typically come with overlapping signals (in fMRI this is obvious, but also in #EEG!). Deconvolution/TRF-modelling is possible, but can we model duration and deconvolution at the same time?
