I'd say so you can do most if not all things in the game solo, especially solo. As for the genre of MMO, I've heard it being referred to as a themepark MMO, dont fully understand the term but the game is fun.

Base PSO2 has a complete story with tons of content but i think early game will be a more solo experience. Unless you have someone to run it with

Global fans (myself included at one point) aren't accustomed to slow rollouts of content. Hence the depression. Story so far is good, can be experienced somewhat stand alone.

Base PSO2 event? I'm in!!
