okay, small correction: the map is not completely uncovered, it just has a VERY large area that it reveals.

There's more than I haven't played with and my playtime is still short, but it's looking good so far. If you have $20 and are interested, I'd consider giving it a shot.

Weapons and tools are different in that they have a durability but they don't break when it runs out. Instead, they simply become less effective until you use a repair kit on them. Pretty convenient and doesn't force you to carry multiple of the same tool.

Exploration is easy with an in-game map, although it doesn't update immediately. The map feels almost too good since the entire world is uncovered, but it does lessen aimless wandering if you're not a fan of that. They even have rails and minecarts, but I don't have the materials for them yet.

It's been in early access for a couple months and is only about $12. I'd say it's worth it if you're interested in rougelites.
