Giving up my boots. Also my trusty bicycle jacket from Mountain Equipment Co-op. Moving is hard. So is the incremental size expansion of age, tho. :D

Considering a smart lock system for the new old house that would allow us to use something other than key and other than keying code. Any experience/suggestions? Maybe it's overkill, but there are e so many options.

The white dot means this definitely moves with us. I plan to have lots of space for books, but for the first time in my life I'd like to avoid moving books just because I couldn't make the decision.

Turns out Buddy knows how to open the motel room door. Which means if we leave him in the room, the room is not secured. Anyone can enter, take our stuff, and get cuddles.

Second weekend in a row driving to Savannah and back. A little grueling. Did see a sandhill crane with fuzzy chick and an armadillo and an alligator, each lit up by the evening sun, on our way home last week. This week? Too soon to say ..
