My latest catskill/hudson valley series!

Dipped my toes in gouache today! It’s opaque watercolor.. think hybrid between watercolor and acrylic. It was nice to work with! I didn’t need to plan my white spaces as much as I do with watercolor. It’s nice being able to add highlights at the end. Might play around with this more in the future!

Hi bluesky! My work is centered around watercolor with macrame mixed in. I find the process of each offers different things. Macrame gives me structure and control. Watercolor teaches me to let go. I’m based near Albany NY and looking to build community with other nature lovers and artists!
