Deep state refugee from that darker place. Center/Left. Into politics, Ukraine, soccer, the arts, education, and emerging science/tech. Not the person you invite to parties, but the first you call when the SHTF.

Many Americans are livid with him as well. He has alienated our allies and taken away any moral high ground we had. He is a cancerous manifestation of all that is bad in our society. Look to Europe until America hits rock bottom and wakes up. We will eventually.

Not to be a jerk, but isn't that an imprint of one?

Russia only understands strength. From Jake Sullivan to JD Vance, the USA's reluctance to fully support Ukraine has only prolonged the war and cost Ukraine lives and land. The Chinese are watching, and our lack of support for allies will likely cost Taiwan dearly as well.

The USA negotiating with Russia ahead of this meeting, without Ukraine or the EU at the table, is the pinnacle of arrogance.

He wouldn't be this upset unless his master plan hinged on future unlawful orders.

I read the bill. Anything unreleased or redacted has to have a justification statement and a public summarization of the content. Yes, there would probably be a small percentage of classified information (foreign government correspondence with the State Dept to try to protect one of their own?).

I'm pretty sure Bezos isn't a good human being, so no.

And by "some files" he means almost all of them, unless they specifically implicate people he doesn't like.

All the different types of aircraft they are using must be a maintenance, training, and logistical nightmare.

Probably both just in case.

The base salary for a members of Congress is insufficient compared to other DC professionals with high-profile positions of high responsibility. Without additional allowances such as travel, housing, and meals only the rich or the corrupt could run for office.

It's a shame that billionaires can't ask Louis XVI or Nicholas II their thoughts on wealth inequality.
November 12, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Let's let the whole thing play out for a while before we decide it was a bad deal. If pushing the bill back to the House forces Johnson's hand to allow an Epstein vote I could give them a pass.

People aren't talking enough about the psychological crisis that is going to develop as AI becomes a mature technology and then converges with quantum computing. We will just ahead 1000 years every decade or two and the human mind won't be able to keep up.
