Do you think they could offer it to Kennedy? I mean he knows nothing about television and is such a fantastic communicator with little on his plate at the moment, so would be a great choice if they’re looking to sell off the BBC.

Everything HE said he was going to do HE IS DOING! Many were happy with his racism and bigotry, his ignorance and reliance on far right propaganda and misinformation, some others obviously thought it was all for show. They were suckered.

In your dreams. Private providers won’t trim their profit margins so if care workers are to get better pay and conditions we are relying on near bankrupt local government to increase funding. More likely this will just mean even less provision and more and more people in need of care going without.

I never would have dreamt that after the events from March 1981 to September 1988 when the SDP wrecked Labour’s chance of election enabling Thatcher followed by the Tory/LibDem coalition of 2010 that I would ever consider voting LibDem rather than Labour but that’s where Starmer and co have left me.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant minority were above average intelligence. There’s a big difference between having poor judgement and low intellect. The Trump brand, just like Farage and other far right leaders is, unfortunately, attractive to ordinary people from all walks of life.

I’m no fan of Starmer but saying that people whose views we don’t share are an idiot or stupid is…. well stupid!

He is so wrong! The US should be thrown out of NATO and the UN. Their leaders, nay their whole administration, have shown themselves to be unworthy of membership of those great institutions.

I don’t think Zelenskyy is any kind of saint but compared to the playground bully and his ill-informed henchman he is on the side of the angels.

He cares only for himself and, maybe, his children. His policies will further enrich them and a few billionaires but devastate the lives of millions. He doesn’t care who they voted for because he hates those who voted against him and those who voted for him have served their purpose.

Time served? There are many who have never been before the courts let alone served any time. He has commuted the sentence of those convicted of sedition, Oath Keepers and Proud Boys who actively organised violence to try to prevent the peaceful transfer of power to the lawfully elected President

He has recruited a militia but has he made an enemy of those closest to power who are tasked with defending Congress, the U.S. Capitol, and democracy since 1828.
