where as trans people (esp transmen) often prefer using words that wouldnt anatomically be considered accurate for what they've got (ie; referring to bottom growth as a t-dick or cock instead of a clit) mostly because of gender dysphoria/euphoria

I think it's definitely because a good percentage of jayvik fics has at least one of them being trans, and if everyone in a Scene is his then it's pretty straight forward what words might be used,

Altho the Jayce-mamas-boy fanon is funny to me because we only ever see her in the snow scene and the in/after the trial, and there seemed to be ALOT of turmoil between them there

Also, it doesnt seem to be addressed in the show, where his dad is, so its kind of assumed he's dead and that hes been raised by a single mother for at least the latter part of his childhood. (Less likely to have been fed the Boys Dont Cry, Toughen Up shit if there isnt a father figure in his life)

I thinknitd just because jayce is a very passionate person, whose emotions are strong (re: suicide attempt) and hes not afraid of expressing those emotions and being soft (re: meljay head in lap talking about his troubles scene).
