Todd, i think i might be a bad person. I love the dick is bigger line. As a female engineer I literally say that so often when dealing with nonsense. When i get home from a day at work where dudes have been shit because I'm a woman i like to say it's cause he's jealous my dick is bigger than his 😭

Remember when she wrote that line about playing a game where you pick a decade you'd rather live in and then she explicitly tacked "without all the racists" on AND said it's obviously it was actually terrible back then and people still said she was a racist idealising the 1830s and slavery?

I think people assume Taylor Swift can't be funny so project sincerity on to her too often when she's clearly joking. Redwood tree, i completely believe is a joke response to that one tweet, dick is bigger, Aristotle to GTA, all jokes.

Eldest Daughter is the only song where it felt sincere (bad)

Thank you for explaining, I'm a writer (novels) and really loved that line so was confused and starting to think i just have shit taste. I can see why the cadence of the line might be kind of annoying to people in the context of a song.

What are you talking about lmao ? it's about scott borchetta. Maybe theres a bit of succession spin on it but it's defs about him, big machine, and the masters lol

Wait I'm genuinely confused... What's wrong with this line?

She's saying he pays the check before it comes to the table at the fancy ass restaurant they're at, right? Am i missing something?

I don't mind wood at all with the context that its literally making fun of that one tweet. which is genuinely a hilarious reaction to have to a harmless diss tweet about you, but she definitely isn't beating the terminally online allegations lol

Ok, just to clarify, she put out an album you don't like and you're comparing her to a literal Nazi?

I would argue that i would live through 100 eldest daughters to get to one The Fate of Ophelia. It genuinely feels like culmination of everything good in ger song writing. Great bop like 1989/rep and beautiful mature writing like folklore. I wish the whole album was like it and Elizabeth Taylor
