Little red book/Xiaohongshu is not a "tik tok clone" Its always been a big social media app in china!
im pretty sure its actually been around much longer than tiktok itself about 11 years in 2013! 3 years before tiktok released in 2016
though thanks to the ban it has gained traction as a protest!
