And his evidence for this is...?

This.

You could say his fault was employing the wrong advisers.
February 5, 2026 at 12:14 AM
The nastiness of the right-wing media was to be anticipated, but Labour has done nothing about it. Like they've not done enough to tackle misinformation via social media, external interference in our politics, PR, reform of the Lords, accountability for PPE, etc. Opportunities missed.
February 5, 2026 at 12:13 AM
I agree. I find it staggering that after all the sleaze and awful behaviour of the last government that Labour has seen fit to almost duplicate it.
February 5, 2026 at 12:08 AM
Nor mine.
February 4, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Labour doesn't seem to get this. People need a sense of hope!! Labour just keeps doing things and making errors that make it all worse.
January 29, 2026 at 12:28 AM
Reform won't make things better, but they play into this despair and find bogeymen to blame and appeal to people's victimhood. People will vote Reform because they feel they have no other way to express their unhappiness with the system.
January 29, 2026 at 12:24 AM
This (the reality, not just the report), after years of austerity, falling living standards, the rich getting richer, etc, means people feel there is no hope so are frustrated by politicians. The biggest disappointment in Labour is that they aren't making things be fairer.
January 29, 2026 at 12:20 AM
Indeed. It's not age. It's mindset, intelligence, culture, etc. It seems that a lot of Reform supporters have a large case of victimhood.

This idea that it is the old people who support all this right wing shit is rubbish. This argument has been used for decades. So some of these old right wingers must be bloody damn old. And that this article refers to young Reform politicians also refutes that argument.
January 27, 2026 at 12:36 AM
Tell that to all the women he abused.
January 25, 2026 at 5:34 PM
Well, if you are so politically mature, perhaps you could share your wisdom about how to prevent Reform from doing so well. Because the current Labour government is sadly not doing well in that respect.
January 25, 2026 at 4:21 PM
Given what Andrew Tate has done, that's quite a nasty comment.
January 25, 2026 at 4:18 PM
A bad decision. Another nail in he coffin for Starmer and Labour.
January 25, 2026 at 1:21 PM
Is it me, but I am so utterly tired of the misinformation, the spin, the unhidden attempts to sway public opinion away from the facts.

Starmer and the Labour government have turned out to be the biggest disappointment.
January 21, 2026 at 10:12 AM
Rubbish. No, they don't. People in the UK are stupid enough to want to vote for Reform after being stupid enough to vote for Bexit. We need the media to be truthful and direct.
January 21, 2026 at 10:10 AM
Jenrick was only wrestling with how to make the defection work to his advantage. Or perhaps he was wrestling with the photocopier controls, which is why he (alleged by some) left his resignation letter there.

Toby Young is like that turd that just keeps popping back up when you flush the toilet.
January 17, 2026 at 9:03 AM
The fact that they are shocked shows how dumb they are.

Can't wait to see which bonkers card you've printed that will break Standard yet again.

He should have disappeared long ago. But you can help, The Guardian, by not continuing to write articles about him.

This feels like yet another example of how WotC are so intent on churning out sets at such regularity, to rake in money. I don't buy paper cards anymore and stick to Arena because I just could not afford to keep up.
