Today I’m thinking about how it must be a bit off-putting to Zoro to be touched gently. That little feral gremlin is so touch starved and he doesn’t even know it, probably hasn’t even thought about it. His idea of physical contact and quality time is exchanging blows 😭

I recently started giving spicy food a try and I’m so happy I got to make and serve this jjimdak to my friends yesterday 🩷
Close-up of a jjimdak plate I made yesterday. It has cubed chicken thigh meat, rice noodles (I know it originally uses sweet potato starch noodles but I only had rice noodles), diced potatoes, carrots and fresh shiitakes. The whole thing is braised in a stock and soy sauce reduction with mirin, garlic, ginger and dried chillis and then topped with some matchstick-cut green onion, fresh bird-eye chillis, sesame oil and sesame seeds. The plate is big and ceramic white. The same dish but from above so we can see the ingredients from another perspective

I don’t know if I can explain how niche this is but it made me so happy?? So my brother went and found @shuravf.bsky.social to ask for a high res version of the pfp I commissioned and added this phrase from my favorite tiktok of all time to this apron for my birthday gift. He’s insane I love it
It’s a photo of a black cooking apron my brother got me for my birthday. He found the artist I commissioned to make my profile picture which is a really hot version of 40 year-old Sanji with his long hair tied in a ponytail, smoking with a deep blue background.
