When I’m 71 years old, The Gunfighters will be closer to the real gunfight at the OK Corral than I’ll be to the making of The Gunfighters.

Here, Dodo’s camouflage is meant to break up her shape against the background, making it difficult for German U-Boats to ascertain her range, speed, and direction.

Since life on Mars is in the news, here’s a graphic I did to illustrate the incredibly compact system of Trappist 1. This shows the relative sizes each planet would appear in the sky, if standing on the 3rd planet (tho they’d never appear at once like this). Panspermia would be very easy here.

I saw this yesterday and some Googling suggests it could be rare and maybe totally unheard of in my area? This was on the Wirral, if there’s any bug people who may be interested. Or I could have totally got the wrong end of the stick.

We’ve already sold a third of the tickets that we sold last time! 🎉

Riverside Studios is so intertwined with this Dr Who story and you can walk outside and see where the TARDIS landed and where the Dalek famously emerged from the Thames!

Come and join us!

For 33 years I thought this guy’s name was “Air-cool Platini”.

Today I found out his name is “Hercule.” 😅

Ashad is just bloody great. Hands down my favourite cyberdesign of the new series, and the fact he’s not robotic in his movements is just so cool. I know they’re supposed to be emotionless but a bit David Banks style swagger is very enjoyable. Wish we’d seen this design as in undamaged form.

I don’t think it’s ever explained what did turn this bloke into a cave artist. Is it in the book? I guess something like the Silurians psychic brain control stuff leaking out from the caves to the centre? Or is the suggestion that he ran across them when they were rewiring the power systems? 🤔
April 10, 2025 at 9:40 AM
Much as I love the Silurians, there are some curious story quirks. Like Quinn never having seen his allies despite them jumping out at other people in the caves or showing off their dinosaur.

Good luck cheating on your homework, kids. This is bonkers. 🤦‍♂️
April 10, 2025 at 8:59 AM
It’s a travesty that there’s a bit in the Silurians where Dr Quinn gives a Silurian a lift in his little car and we don’t get to see that. One of those really awkward silent drives where you can’t think of anything to say.

This pub quiz dingbat had me foxed. I got told the answer and now I’ve forgotten again. 😅

There’s a bit in Invasion of the Dinosaurs part four that lasts 4 mins 27 seconds with no dialogue at all.

I’ve probably asked this before but what other contenders are there for this record?

The whole episode is pretty dialogue-light actually so I wonder what the episode is with fewest words.

Two episodes into The Crow Girl on Paramount+ and it’s brilliant. And I’m not just biased because of these three cast members. 👀

Watching a history programme and was amazed to see this guy’s moustache fossilised and preserved 👴🏻
