As a kid in the 80's watching GI Joe cartoons, I always wondered:
- How did Cobra get their funding?
- Why did people willingly join an obviously evil private army?
- Why did they stay loyal to an obviously mentally unstable leader, failure after failure?
I don't wonder about these anymore.

I don't think that most politicians are worth the money spent on them.
They are shoddily crafted, freeze up under pressure, & constantly need to be replaced.

This war on gender oddly reminds me of industrial farming.
Capitalism winnows nature down to the most profitable monocultures.
In a way, people are also a crop - harvested for subscriptions, rent, purchases, etc.

I think there's a misconception about living life as Jesus did.
Being kind & compassionate is great, but it doesn't reflect his life's work.
To truly live like Jesus, publicly call out the hypocrisy & injustice done against the poor & oppressed so loudly that the ruling class wants to kill you.

I think true crime shows are popular with women because the stories are set in an aspirational world where it is possible for men to get caught and consistently face real consequences for their crimes.

I'm Gen X and I have seen a lot of violence & despair in my storied life, but nothing I experienced was as painful as dealing with the Ticketmaster website just now.
