I talk about QBs way longer than I should and I write for AllSteelers fan nation.
The decision sucks by Drew Allar. It's first and 10, there's no reason to do this. 5's route also has way too much wasted movement going into a deep dig. He doesn't stem his route favorably enough to square off the CB. U want to be accelerating into this break to cross face. CB's not buying the out.

I just want to see Allar keep his feet under control next year. The bounce can be fine, but he loses control of that back foot too early and ends up putting to much lower half rotation into this throw, causing the ball to be too far out in front.

Anticipation on curls and comebacks are one of Drew Allar's strong suits

One of those capital A anticipation throws that makes me wonder how much of this is is a miss by Allar, is it the wrong route by the WR, or is Allar protecting his WR from a potential hit over the middle by expecting him to settle?

Was honestly really shocked at how good the Ole Miss tape was from an adversity perspective. His LT gets his ass kicked the entire game and I'm seeing him get to backside reads in muddy pockets. Georgia's play calling in the red area perplexed the hell out of me.

Obviously I'd prefer this to be completed, but there are some chef aspects to Carson Beck in terms of creating plays. Stereotypical game manager would've probably gotten his pass batted and wouldn't have even thought to pump this one. Liked the process despite the shit result.

I can't tell if I love, or hate the decision to throw this. The placement is absurd by Carson Beck, but there's so many bodies it borders on being a hospital ball. Safety tried to play the ball. Regardless, absurd velocity to fit this one in and over.

The playmaking, arm elasticity and throws under pressure are eye catching. There is something there. Yes, he's going to be 26 at the end of the first month of his rookie season, but I'm looking for values.

Tyler Shough's unfortunate injuries led to a very late college breakout and it will cause him to be a 26 year old rookie. That said, I can't help but be intrigued by the throws and traits he's shown on film. He's a guy I'm keeping my eye on as a potential value.

I've been thinking about this throw from Bryce Young all day man......

The release to get this out as fast as he did from this awkward platform while getting hit and somehow placing it into an impossibly tight window where only David Moore could get it.

This is not only managing a football game, this is using the threat of your legs to open up passing windows, which I absolutely love to see. It's only a checkdown, but it ends up getting the first because of the space created.

Will come back to this thread later when I watch more games.

Not too many notable things in this Purdue game, but this is another example of managing the football game. Mesh versus zone and the spot route is also covered up, use your legs and minimize the damage of a dead play.

An area of Allar's game that has grown substantially from last year to this year is the ability to throw with touch, making his passes easier to corral. Once again, good drop manipulation to not tip off the middle safety (it's basic, but it's important to point out) and puts it in the bucket.

Pocket management is a key trait in QB evaluation. The pulling center is already at a disadvantage versus this outside rush. Allar feels this pressure, looks to climb, keeps his eyes up and hits the dig on dagger from a moving platform.

We all saw this play live, the fact this ends up as an INT for OSU is just nothing short of insanely bad luck. Allar loves the leverage, sees the CB playing the hands and places it right on his WR. He has to come up with this ball.
