As quickly as the snow happened, it’s changing to all rain across Northern Wisconsin. Mild mid-level temperatures (from the Atlantic Ocean) is the culprit. #wiwx

Super #TyphoonKongRey is a beast! It is headed right towards Taiwan and would be the third typhoon to impact the country this year. The eye is over 60 miles wide!

NYC (Central Park) is off to the THIRD driest fall on record. Rain totals from Sept 1 to current is only 1.58". Forecast looks very dry too with little to no rain in the next 10 days. The record is 0.87" in 1884.

This is chlorophyll fluorescence. Both good and bad algae produce it. Officials won't know whether it is red tide or not until samples return. Concerns are mounting after both Hurricane Helene and Milton. #HurricaneMilton #HurricaneHelene
