A WiP of my take on the Chest of Superior Tracking for D&D games: I printed the main body of the chest out of a glow-in-the-dark filament, hit it with a black/gray wash, then drybrushed the inscription in silver. Loving the way the glow shows through. #DND, #3dprinting, #TTRPG

When doing a 2am filament swap on a split print because you didn't check before you started the print, make sure you have sufficient light, sufficient alertness, and sufficient self-awareness to not do it.

Wasn't a fan of the ending, but I loved the horror aesthetic. Gave a real sense of fear and foreboding to regular troops suddenly fighting the mecha equivalent of Jason Voorhees

I'm a heretic with you then. The 2SS is beautiful. I don't know if I could rank them after that, but the YF-30 Chronos gives me such a CFA-44 vibe from Ace Combat.

Everything's been sealed up, and I think my experiment with metallic paints turned out okay. I'd hate to paint a whole company up like this, but I might revisit this for a Solaris stable or lance in the future. #battletech #minipainting

Here's the record sheet. Yes, it's narrow/low profile, but I figure if a Marauder II can get that, so can this. (I'm gonna say the curved armor does it ;p) It's an absolute nightmare in close combat. Especially with a pilot that has melee mastery.
