Not for nothing, this deeply messed up way to feel like someone cares about you is also an almost certainly illegal/unconstitutional misappropriation of funds designated by Congress for specified purposes.

Specify that the funds come first from ICE/DHS appropriations and assets. Defund them by making them pay for everything from their own budget and give them not one cent more. Once they’ve sold every last piece of equipment and surrendered every salary, then go fulfill the rest from the treasury.

I am flabbergasted that Thomas Massie and Rand Paul are the sane and principled voices of the GOP in this issue (only). In any other time, these 2 would be laughingstocks. In this shitty time, they’re the best of their party.

Until proven in a court of law, each of these “attacks on ICE” and “vehicle attacks” should be assumed to be ICE attacking people and then charging their victims with the crime. It has happened enough times already, and the burden of proof is on the government. We are presumed innocent, fuckwits.
