Twin day has been a nightmare for us socially with C. He has friends but they’re mostly girls who twin with each other. But he wants to participate bc Rule Follower (and included) and ugh. I hate twin days.

Your annoyance at this, and the school’s policy without an option for child care, is misplaced and insensitive to any type of family that doesn’t have more than one parent (or really any type of non-traditional family situation)

Our school offers an adult (usually PTA volunteer) to watch the kids in the gym or playground because not everyone has child care and also, if both parents want to attend or they only have one parent, it’s the Less Worse Option to bring your kid.

You will def have to take two cars.
