critiquing others who were genuinely passionate and adamant about getting better in a way that frankly does more harm than good. while it may have came off as rude i consider it completely true, even if i should have been more careful with my words the intention was genuine

my apologies if it came off like that. while it was a genuine criticism i was heated becayse one of my friends was harshly critiqued to the point of breakdown by someone else on how they were meant to review the game, and i felt like it was a big issue of people who don't put effort into the game-

sorry 4 the rant and this isn't necessarily directed at you as ive stated i just wanted to get my thoughts out now that ive calmed down

from my gameplay, and i almost always end up noticing something new about how or why i won or lost an interaction/a game. if i didnt i would be #1 on xrank leaderboards

and thinking one has senioritis because they've vod reviewed before or they know what they need to improve on doesn't mean you can't still learn something from vod reviewing. its a lesson we can all learn about ego, i do the same thing sometimes, then remind myself there's always something to learn-

ill admit the comment was harsh (i was a little heated when writing it lol) and obvi there are more ways to get better than vod reviewing but it's the easiest, most accessible, and most in-depth way to look at what you have to improve in your gameplay. even top players make mistakes and so do we-

a 5 minute ranked game from a scrim or even soloq and look at your flaws and see (even generally) what you have to work on, you've clearly not put enough effort into the game to be dictating how (in the case of sws for example) top western players or even other players your level should be reviewing

i wanna reply to this cause it's a great point and it allows me to properly argue as to why i said anything in the first place. this tweet was mainly targeted at people who never vod review, even if they don't know what to work on in the game, because if you don't have the patience to go through-
