Picked up one the original commissars from 1988 recently. Interesting that is labeled 'chaplain'. Looking forward to painting this guy.

Gave alpha strike a go for the first time last week, really solid game. It's impressive how much of the complexity of Battletech is expressed on a single card. Looking forward to doing some larger games

Interestingly, I have not been able to find a Wargame centered around SWAT team like operations. Maybe it's finally time I try my hand at writing rules.

It is funny how detached my love for The Horus Heresy is from GW at this point. Currently planning on making a new army and I'm just plowing through all the new edition nonsense and making what I want. Oh no destroyers yet? That's cool, time to make an army of them without the correct number of HQs.

Victory! Did a huge Quar CoR game today and my glorious musician saved the day alongside a brutally accurate cook.

Did some speedy quar painting for a game this week, really like these character models. Also hot some Battletech progress done, not sure what else I want to do with these yet, maybe some stripes

A rare victory at the club! Managed to lay down some highly effective suppressing fire, then let my trench raiders crack some skulls.

Played Malifaux for the first time. Really fun game. The gangs we had were super fast paced so the whole game felt like an action movie showdown. Reckon I'll have to pick up some models!

Not posted for a bit as work has been full on. A draw at the club this time as the forces of Gwynt and the Fidwog F.O.D clash. First time using tractors.

Another victory for the Crymuster. This time the crusaders attempted to assassinate a member of the royal family, but in a surprise turn around the ambushers were destroyed. Another great game of Clash of Rhyflers. Keen to try out this dudes other game, War of Ashes, as it's on humble ATM.

Got a set of MKIII marines fory birthday and I must say, even though they come in a million bits, they are really nice. I think I'm gonna make them up into 5 man units and do Grimdark firefight with them. Very tempted to paint then some pre primarch colours aswell.

Played a test game of Trench Crusade, pretty impressed thus far. Very fast-paced and brutal. The Heretic War Wolf is a melee monster.

After many hours of work I have fixed my broken charity shop space crusade models and magnetised the marines. Painting next I think!
