it is very difficult to say for certain if Horned Otters will remain in the wild, or if they'll go extinct.

There's not much lore to Ollie (yet), but his species (a subspecies of otter) is dying out due to lack of mating and failure of adapting as the waters in their habitat rise.

Good for otters, but not of the horned variety.
