Technically this is it’s second hiatus, it’s first was in 1978 after JAKQ’s financial failure with Spider-Man’s huge success causing Toei to put giant robots in Sentai, creating Battle Fever J with Leopardon’s suit being revised for the series after Battle Fever J, Denshi Sentai Denziman.
