continue to harm the Black community. But at the same time, their absence will create a vacuum where misinformation and other harms will proliferate. I think focusing on helping other people in the Black community navigate this is where I can do the most good right now.

and the impacts this admin will potentially have on our livelihoods. In a sense it feels like a double consciousness that W.E.B Du Bois conceptualized, but applied to a different situation. Often times I don't feel beholden to defend these institutions given the myriad of way they have and -

unqualified these people are if they weren't doing what they are right now in these positions. On the one hand I have the thought of "This is what the people here voted for, but This isn't my lesson to learn." While also recognizing the harm that this admins actions will have on the Black community-

*This is a study from Sweden so idk if this trend holds everywhere. I'd be willing to bet that there is a similar trend in the US though.
