If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.

You're the ceo of a company who has tens of thousands of employees on foodstamps. Go teach your granny to suck eggs.

And by pirating books instead of patronizing libraries you help the publishers do just that, while also keeping authors from earning what pitiful commissions most major publishers and distributors give them.

Have you ever heard the phrase "don't cut off your nose to spite your face"?

Libraries exist my dude.

Rent a truck borrow a friend who knows how to drive it. UHaul or a lot of your big name chain hardware stores will do half day or by the hour rentals.

You literally wrote "those other people should advocate for change" in response to someone pointing out a root cause problem. But hey, you keep doing you. You've got the whole self righteous NIMBY thing down.

Would you take the same "not my problem approach" if this were a disability access issue? That only wheelchair users should advocate for solution to a design issue that causes problems both for them and the people they share transit with? Cause that's exactly what you did here.

Yes there are power dynamics and sexism and patriarchy issues all tied up in this. Yes men have a responsibility bro he aware of those dynamics and act accordingly to mitigate them. But you're advocating a selfish solution that only benefit you and doesn't address the root cause.

I want you to read what you just wrote out loud. Now ask if those sound like the words of someone who cares about the problem or someone who only cares about their own comfort. Because you set up a situation where you want someone else to both advocate and sacrifice their comfort for yours.

There are several choices here. One of them is the choice to design seats that are so small and close together that they create this problem.

Also I weigh a lot and I have the leg muscles to support and move that weight. I also have certain equipment that, in a seated position can get squished painfully between those muscles if my knees (and therefore my thighs) are pressed together unless things are very carefully arranged.

Sorry. I try not to spam too much politics but <shrug> got to survive this shit show somehow.

Sure, but they COULD explain that it's a valediction (or just call it a parting phrase) that is relatively neutral, appropriate for both general use and closer acquaintances.

Even if it's just sound you make to express an idea without understanding where it comes from it still means SOMETHING.
