i found a huge ash tree down on the farm and cut a couple slabs out of it. i put it with the rest of my wood to try to dry- looks like i got a mushroom farm instead!
i didnt know if it would dry but had to try at least.
i have no idea what kind they are, but its pretty neat!

i got the best news ever in my yearly checkup today so i celebrated by eating the last 1/3 of an old bag of sour gummy worms ive had in the candy jar since last winter.
i had given up my beloved gummy worms to lower my sugar intake- so not so bad considering!
its the little things folks :)
