It's not hard to just communicate. And have respect for the people around you. Honestly. And I don't expect much out of this. We've called the builder and we're hoping they'll put up something temporary at least ASAP 🤞

We're assuming it hasn't been down for long, but we're relieved we caught it now so the dogs don't get lost or hurt.

This, in addition to all the fuckery that went down when the property was sold (letting people in to value without informing us - cool stuff) - is a bit shit.

We also have no idea how long it's been this way. We don't use the yard a huge amount because of the giant, trees that like to drop branches everywhere (we've spent over a year asking them to look at those) - but our dogs do run around out there on occasion.

I so intensely want to be understanding & have everyone else be OK that I end up kind of fucking myself over in the feelings department in like...a huge way.

And I don't want to go over this with this person again, like, it's exhausting.

So I gotta just sit with these feels for a bit.

I also spent a lot of time making that person feel better about the whole situation and I've now realised I...kind of went full 'fawn' but now, a few days on it's like...no, this sucks. And I'm a bit hurt.

Like, I was seeing someone casually and it was going pretty well...or so I thought. And then it wasn't. And there's a whole bunch of really valid reasons why it's come to a conclusion but it wasn't something I particularly wanted.
