When injustice, pain, or delay are all around us, we need to pray for deliverance not just from our current situation, but also for a greater faith in God's work.

Like Moses, the faithful Jesus guides God's people. He begs the Father on our behalf, knowing our frailties. As a result, our suffering is not unique to us. We are encouraged to pray with trust, not fear.

We are urged by these verses to focus our attention on Jesus, the ultimate Deliverer, our High Priest (intercessor), and our Apostle (messenger).

The just, or those who live by faith, judge God's love based on His constant nature rather than on quick fixes or outward signs of favour. Despite what our human impatience may lead us to believe; God is never late. Waiting is spiritual strength in silence, not weakness.

God's unwavering kindness and constancy, especially during difficult and silent times is evident. Despite the heartache of captivity and the destruction of Jerusalem, Prophet Jeremiah chose to wait on God instead of giving up.
