It’s so surreal to be from Minneapolis right now. My 8th grade Spanish teacher was on Good Morning America.

This is gonna sound insane but doing this actually changes the flavor of the candy in the wrapper. Like a single Twix you buy from the grocery store doesn’t taste the same as one that has been mixed with other Halloween candy.
I love tossing the assorted candy for the children (and of course myself) in a large bowl like a mixed salad to ensure even ingredient distribution

When Chatterton Williams says two hundred people met in Powderhorn Park, MPLS to advocate for abolishing the Minneapolis police department, this is not true. I was at Powderhorn that day, that’s not why we met and abolition of the MPD was not the main objective.
Episode 44: Summer of Our Discontent

Thomas Chatterton Williams is the only thinker brave enough to ask the question: is there a way to make that sentence longer?

This is the original meaning of the phrase “well-behaved women rarely make history”
The obvious problem is that if you only focus on the few women that fought back, it gives a warped impression that fighting back was easy. "It wasn't that bad because they could just leave" is not accurate, especially in a time with non-stop slobbering over RETVRNING to "tradition" (50s advertising)
I just read a superb book on domestic violence in medieval England.

It provides detailed case studies of the few women who fought against the grain.

But what about the majority who desperately tried to secure their husbands’ commitment?

Why does History focus on subversives?

“Mary did you know” sounds like it would be a fun gospel tune like “Oh Mary don’t you weep” but it’s not gospel and it sucks balls

They would be aliens with human bodies and fish heads I feel
I’m very late but Altoona sounds like a Star Wars planet with aliens of the puppet variety
