When I bought this 9’ tree it was wrapped up and seemingly scrawny, but now after it’s had a chance to spread out again it is so beautiful and magnificent that I’m considering not decorating it at all.

My parents just casually left the book ‘How Babies Are Made’ - the one with the paper cutout illustrations- out on the living room coffee table. It really wasn’t the worst approach. No conversations were had. It was fine.
