This has always been my worst fear about climate change: the worse it gets, the more geopolitical chaos it causes; the more geopolitical chaos there is, the harder it is to cooperate to fight climate change.

in August, i went to two meetings in Iowa—one headed by the Sierra Club, one emceed by disgraced congressman Steve King—both in opposition to the same project: a proposed carbon-capture pipeline.

In this decisive decade for #climateaction, wondering if we’ve hit the nexus of ROI vs CO2 conversations. Now fully aware the ROI is so far in the negative if we do nothing that 2030 and beyond are unbearable fiscally to do nothing.

Still don’t have a humorous way to deliver this thought…
