Of course the one time I experienced actual ableism in the drag scene it's done by someone so beloved and popular that speaking up about it would nuke several friendships and booking opportunities 🫠

Drag Race Vegas live seems like the anthesis of drag. It’s corporate and sanitized and devoid of any soul or art. I really dislike these mega stadium drag tours but the Vegas one just exists to fill a straight persons idea of what drag is. Gives me such an ick.

My hot take, as someone who was on tumblr at the peak of neopronouns, is that queer teenagers are still figuring themselves out and this is basically how they do it. Getting angry about young people figuring out their identities is silly. Don’t angry mob queer teenagers.
