gonna say sth controversial, as usual, but a lot of dance instructors are bad teachers. running through the steps without explaining the technique, not checking if everyone is doing it correctly, not adapting to everyone’s needs. a lot are also not very musical either, but that’s a different story.

I adore the campiness of Death Becomes Her musical, but the more I listen to it, the more I think - almost every song is at 11 vocally speaking. high notes, dramatic belts. no ballads. the more I listen to it, the more it starts sounding… kinda boring.

best songs at Eurovision last night were Latvia, Spain & POLAND. the jury was rigged. the public voting was rigged too (297 points for Israel, the most out of everyone? yeah, right). I said what I said.

I’m so conflicted watching burlesque on RPDR. on one hand any publicity is good publicity. Bosco is the real deal, it’s not just a gimmick for the show. but did Loie Fuller get a mention? are we ever going to hear that burlesque is an art form pioneered by WOMEN?

oh look, BHOF lineups are up! with a whooping 0/12 European artists in the main comp! 2/13 in debuts! 2/4 in small groups for some reason (0/4 in large groups). 2/14 in movers, shakers, innovators (non-comp).
why am I even surprised. wonder how many Europeans even try to apply.

I love this photoshoot. It was a gift from my friends. My concept was “1920s meet 2020s”. Boudoir, but Euphoria-style.
