Our neighbors banana tree was ripe so they cut down the big bunch - and then brought us some. This is what I love about fruit trees and community - the abundance that encourages sharing.

Just how backwards is US public transportation? In Texas (which is about the size of France) there is only 1 - yes 1- train a day between 2 of its major cities.
