Thing I love number 4: bunnies. I’ve wanted one my whole life and it’s so cool how as an adult you can do what you want 🙃 soft, cute whimsical things are what I’m trying to fill my life with these days and they do. Plus they’re cottagecore 💁🏻‍♀️

Thing I love number 3: being an artist. I’ve been creating as long as I can remember. Burning through my parents and grandparents film, filling up notebook after notebook with stories. High school job placement tests never could define a practical job for me, but I found it. Self portrait from 2000.

I wanna join so bad you don’t even know. I used to think I had to choose between writing and photography, as if one didn’t enhance the other.

Thing I love number one: being a mother. My identity in nurturing my kid and who we are becoming, together and apart but in relation to each other is the absolute most important part of my life, and my art making is almost exclusively rooted in this.
