Creating the offering and running so much had depleted much of its energy storage. It could only hope it'd appeased the other enough to make him leave him alone... but even if it hadn't, there wasn't much energy remnants left to feed him, anyways.

There would be no such risk of being consumed.

A humanoid being, but it wouldn't be the golden-skinned man familiar to him. No, just a regular Terran, wincing behind the makeshift shield of planetary matter.

If Terrans had glowing eyes and blue, pulsating veins running beneath their skin to match, that is.
