I am getting to the age where, when I'm tired and trying to text, I fall asleep in the middle of a sentence. We've moved beyond dropping the phone on my face. Now I'm also writing and sending half-thoughts.

I do Instacart to help keep my family solvent. It's the only job I can do with my ADHD. Not glamorous, but I feel successful. I tell them when there's only 1 of what they want but it looks like crap. I try to spread kindness when I can. And that's how I put good into the world today.

The week's been like a slog through the slime from Double Dare. Here's something that made me laugh for about 10 minutes yesterday: for the past THREE WEEKS I've been taking meds with tangerine juice. I'm slow to suspicion.

New self-policy: take the same amount of time *away* from the news as I spend *looking* at the news. I can't help anybody if I'm exhausted from panic.
