Had an abundance of good news today so I'm celebrating! Continued employment next year after worries I might have to be let go and my husband, who's been in one day a week furlough for 8 months, is returning to full-time after next week!

Watched this FUCKED UP movie tonight outside by the fire because "spooky season."
It's more disturbing than scary though. Gonna have to watch Mama Mia or something SUPER light and fun before bed.

I reread a book this week that I seriously do not remember ONE WORD OF. Like I GASPED at a BIG THING I should have definitely remembered from the first read.
Anyway, Pretty Face by Lucy Parker holds up! The narrator was so good because the MMC has vocal issues and she nails it perfectly.

I'm getting gifted tomatoes from friends and family, so I spent the day yesterday making roasted tomato sauce. Such an easy way to knock out a lot of tomatoes and now I have a freezer full of sauce for the winter!
