Literally just walk in the door. Sign up for a card, borrow materials digital or traditional, attend events. Join a friend's group or auxiliary board if you have the time. Get to know your staff.

Your community might not have a big name organization, but I'd put money on the fact that you've got a library in your town or one a town or two over.

We've seen the play book, calling staff "groomers", increased book banning. Libraries are in their crosshairs and not nearly as well funded.
