-and thus implying that another trans person (with different lore understandings) is not being considerate, respectful, informed, or sensitive enough about the character. KC is so much more than just a dead, unwanted given name. If anything, reducing it to a deadname is worse.

I fully understand the name preference thing being emphasized by other trans ppl for understanding and affection for the character. But it’s unnecessarily rude and triggering to police others into doing the same as if he’s a real person with real deadname issues
