Does anyone watch lord of the rings reactions when you want some comfort but have no time to watch the whole trilogy? #lotr

I see bluesky as a personal rant dumper as I do not follow many people and not a lot of people are following me. And you know what? I absolutely love it.

One thing that baffles me is that no matter how much Tolkien I have read and will read, I will never remember anything about the elvish language(not names). And what's worse is that it seems really easy for other people, especially for Tolkien creators. (Looking at you @silmarilleanne.bsky.social 😂)

On other news I am hating my life writing my linguistics paper. I am sadly no Tolkien.

1/2 I had a discussion with a friend once and he said "It is very contradictory of you to like LOTR". I was confused. He continued by saying that "Tolkien had once stated that LOTR is a religious work and since you are not religious you should not like it".
