Sometimes I wonder if this college thing is sustainable.

Legitimately, I think professors should fail more students. But, I know that's easier said than done bc colleges NEED the students more than the students need the colleges, and admin will practically beg for students to skirt by classes they have no right to.

The internet created spaces for the most unhinged conspiracy theories to take root and grow into mainstream with no pushback. Even politicians just recite em and dont care about the facts bc thats what their base wants to hear

many years ago i wanted to be a professor, im glad i pivoted bc i think id have quit LOL

even worse if the professor is wrong. then it gets brought all the way to the top. i don't envy the position these professors are in nowadays. so many students cheat. so many students don't cheat but get accused of cheating. it's harder than ever to tell who knows anything just by assignments
