Cutting Rates will cause inflation to spike again. But at least his billionaire friends will get their money cheaper, which in turn makes them more money in the long run.

All for the cost of the lower and middle class. Trump is truly a man of the people.

Today the Swiss learned some valuable lessons. Trump does not care for their "neutrality". Also, sucking up to trump does not pay off if you aren't a billionaire.

That's what you get for trying to cozy up to Trump and leave your European brothers and sisters behind.

Multiple trillions have been wiped out from the markets.
"The patient is healing". Yeah... I don't buy that. This is just the beginning of Trumponomics. And MAGA is cheering him on to screw over the US economy and also the worlds economy in the process.

The EU needs to united against this madness.
April 3, 2025 at 5:51 PM
What does this even mean.?

Do Trump and his MAGA cult really think that dunking chicken in chlorine makes them stronger? Or what is the meaning behind all of this?

Their meat cant be sold here because it does not meet the EUs basic food safety rules. I would not call that "strong".

The fact that Trump is threatening Ukraine again while at the same time, rolling back his threats he made vs Russia is absurd.

He is switches his opinion faster then a toddler.
It also shows where his real friends are. In Moscow. He is fanboying harder for Putin then even the Vatniks.

Big wins for Europe: The EU just smashed records with over 45% of its electricity now powered by renewables! 💚🌱

I don't want to jump on the Tesla-bashing train (That is a lie, of yours i want to),
but I think Tesla in Europe will not recover from all of this. Even the new facelift of their cars wont change the fact that in Germany alone 94% of people say they will never by a Tesla.
March 28, 2025 at 7:05 AM
To think that people believed that Trump will make prices go down.

And now he will levy additional taxes on all car related imports in the us.
"But then people will buy American!"

Do you really believe that US companies wont use this as an opportunity to hike prices again?

Trump: "The EU is weak and cant hurt us. We will do with them what ever we want and punish them how we see fit.

Also Trump: "Please no coordinated efforts to fight back against our economic attacks in your countries. I am scarred!"

7/7 Even more so because the incoming government is already talking about cutting back on all kinds of social programs across Germany. Which will alienate even more people.

And if we have learned one thing. Cutting back on social spending only helps the AFD.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
6/7 What I, and this is just my personal opinion, don't like is the fact, that the reform gives the Government a blank check in terms of spending when it comes to defense.
And while I am very happy with Germany stepping up, I think there should be some rules attached to it.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
5/7 What is also important is the fact, that the German green party (Bündnis 90/ Die Grünen) forced the coalition of the Union and SPD to include cyber security as well as civil protections in the debt package. Twi things that were previously forgotten by the other two parties.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
4/7 Another Important point is, that all the money that will now flow into the Bundeswehr and other places is ADDITIONAL funding. So there is no chance of it being used for projects that are already in motion. So there will be no tricks regarding spending on old contracts.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
3/7 All in all i think the changed to allow the Bundeswehr to get back into a state where it will be able to fulfill its duties.

Duties that have been created by the evolving security landscape and the need for enhanced military capabilities in response to global tensions.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
2/7 Including aid to nations attacked in violation of international law is a huge plus in this package and will secure the funding for Ukraine for years to come.

The package also increases the budged set aside for Ukraine by ~8 billion Euros as well. Which is also a good thing.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
1/7 The Bundestag approved a constitutional amendment allowing defense expenditures exceeding 1% of the nominal GDP to be exempt from the debt brake.

This covers spending on defense, civil protection, intelligence services, IT system security, and aid to nations like Ukraine.
March 27, 2025 at 1:55 PM
Okay. Like I promised. Here are my takeaways of the #German #debtbreak #reform

This, Germany amended its constitution to relax the debt brake for defense spending. Here's a detailed breakdown of the changes in form of a 🧵 ⬇️ :
