100% agree. Trump shoots himself in the foot with his own words, why make this unforced error? We all know what happened Ms saw it with our own eyes - no need to “spin” that day any more than what the right has done already; it was now just a peaceful stroll down the Mall to do some sightseeing.

While some may indeed throw the baby out with the bath water, I think many believers can see through the charade and know Jesus was preaching the exact opposite of everything they stand for; their legalisms, keeping people (women, children, POC, the poor, the sick, the outcasts) “in their place.”

I read reviews and understand it was just hype. The acting may have been passable, but one review suggested it was the director’s excuse to make a movie about a woman being naked having sex; ie to fulfill his own fetish. That way, the sex work is all in the up and up, you know?

By saying a shutdown will give Trump/Musk a blank check, you are doing just that. The GOP already proved shutdowns don't mean diddly squat politically. The gov't is already shut down for the most part thanks to DOGE. Make it clear the reasons for a shut down are to fight for Americans and NO CUTS!

By framing it this way, you are doing exactly what Trump/Musk want. The gov't is pretty much shut down anyway with all of DOGE's cuts. Weren't the Dems cut out of negotiations anyway? Why are you voting for something Dems had no say in? Instead, consider fighting for Americans and vote "NO."
