On Sunday I posted about how I'd taken over at 1860 Munich with them bottom of the league. I managed to keep them up but I decided it wasn't the save for me. I started a new save in Portugal as Estoril, I'm going to start a thread below where I'll post updates #fm24 ⬇️

Atalanta BC mixed it with the big boys of Serie A and finished just outside the top half in their first season in the top flight. And the club's board backed manager Roberto Lombardi by agreeing to his requests for improved training and youth facilities, youth recruitment and junior coaching over the summer of 1996 (2025).

Was just driving home and I had an Asda delivery van in front of me, coming the other way was a Tesco delivery van. They flashed their lights at one another as a sign of mutual respect. I imagine it's pretty much the same as when Messi and Ronaldo drive past one another

In this save, we're embarking on a nostalgic adventure with the brand new 1994/95 database from The Mad Scientist, which is currently available in Early Access mode. Atalanta secured an immediate return to the best league in the world by blowing away Serie B with over 100 goals and points. But they faced a big step up in quality if they were to meet the board's objective of surviving in Serie A - which wasn't helped by a poor financial situation.

Southampton deserve to be relegated playing like that. Surely Russell Martin knows they need to change their approach? Feels like he's more bothered about his own footballing principles and how he's viewed as a manager than what's best for the team
