Veggie Lasagne. The key is green olives, folks.

You’re welcome.

I made enough for everyone (14), but they all went traditional.

It’s a great track, but #2 at best.

At best.

Oh!

Was listening to it a half hour or so ago and was wondering why it isn’t just accepted by everybody as being an absolute classic.

Side Two has Desire As, Hallelujah, Movin the River…. Only Horsing Around is a dud imo.

Pia - I have a hectic few days of packing and travel ahead, so I may not post (m)any more albums to #AtoZStudioAlbums

I just wanted to say Thank You for starting the challenge. It’s been great fun, and I have lovely new connections because of it

Which is the point, no?

I have. Love it.
December 18, 2024 at 8:55 PM
Yeah, me too. Rural Ireland, so no gigs at all (first one was Yhe Pogues in 84 or 5), and radio didn’t play album tracks, so hadn’t heard much Bruce. By 80 though, I had a job and with my meagre wages, I bought …. Records

No. Subtlety is not my thing.

Cassette tapes, mate. They misbehave. You need a pencil to resolve the issue.
December 18, 2024 at 6:05 PM
Aye. But it’s there, right? For you to share or not as you see fit.

She sang and danced around the house. It’s Latin music and it’s David Byrne, She had it on cassette, even. Yer house must have been full of pencils!

And Gill sang and she danced and you saw it with your own eyes.

I was 16 or 17. SO fed up with the Mudic charts in Ireland. There was a religious song called ‘One Day at a a time’ at #1 in Ireland for 6/7 weeks. Local music was all showband/country rubbish. No 1 in the U.K. was ‘Are Friends Electric?’. It was a different world. And I decided to go there. I did.

I think it’s probably fair to have no Beatles awareness aged 5. Nonetheless, it was all ahead of you to discover, and what a treasure it is. Still learning stuff now.
