Finished commission!! Experimented a bit with some crunchy brushes on this one. the commission features my oc Narmun & a player character from a game I run. She has more or less adopted him as her grandfather. Story re the scene in alt text.

This image depicts my character Narmun hugging a player character in the ttrpg game I run in my setting. They are standing front of what is known as the memory tree. It is actually *his* memory from when he was killed previously, or rather, when his body was killed. He'd imparted his memories into this tree so that he could find it again when he reformed. At this point in the campaign, the players have helped him get his memories back without the tree, and he found the tree, realizing that it infact carried his old memories. He reabsorbed them and fully regained his status as a god. His hair had been moonlight when he was first alive, and had turned black upon his reforming. With his memories back, his hair is now a mix of the two colors, for now. The player character is hugging him after telling him that he is not alone, he is loved, he matters. It broke the poor man.
