Hmm... My first home was built in 2000, 1700 sq ft. Poorly insulated and all builder grade stuff on .17 acre an hour+ from where the jobs are. Zestimate is 375k. I don't think the massive price discrepancy is explained by a garage and fridge built with more efficient methods than the 70s.

I work with a bunch of right leaning guys that aren't Maga. And it seems like all of them voted Trump because they were (their words) sick of DEI and trans bullshit and open borders. They were probably voting R anyway, but the D candidates weren't running enough on real middle class issues.

They shouldn't promise lower prices, which won't go down without contacting the money supply. They should run on drastically reducing taxes on the middle class and raise them on those that can afford it. This isn't hard.
