Fabric is rough cut, but I need to get some upholstery batting, so this is on hold for a day or two.

One of the things I love about picking apart old furniture and bags is seeing how scrap is used. See this piece of vinyl used to cover the springs before the batting & straw got laid on top.

The bottom cushion is unsurprisingly a mess. Several springs broken. Luckily, this chair is mainly for the cats and they won't care.

This is actually a woman's coat from the 70s/80s, but the price was too good not to flip (or get in the hands of a friend).
