100g, 100% Fine Merino Wool skeins, hand-dyed in our The Opal colorway.

Bulky weight with single (1) ply, this is a great yarn for fun wearables such as hats, scarves, or cowls. This yarn has a unique boucle texture which will be reflected in the finished garment.

We do have all of our stock, but don’t have any displays, so take a peak at our scent catalogue while you’re here for our full line of scents. Yarn is already going fast so be sure to grab some early if you can!

Of course, it’s what I’m here for! 💜

Hello, thank you so much! Yes on the hat, depending on the pattern, you can get two hats out of a skein. The scarf will depend on the pattern. One might be enough, but each pattern has a suggested yardage of yarn + the weight they’re going by. Without a pattern my best gestimate would be two skeins.

We’ll be packing these to @t2comiccon.bsky.social in Horseheads, NY this weekend, any leftovers will be uploaded to Ko-Fi. The #ricomiccon yarn leftovers, The Opal, are now available on Ko-Fi! Catch us at Twin Tiers in the Maker were with our friend @cloudedstitches.bsky.social to grab them first!

When I’m carrying too much yarn, I’ve found casting Ease Burden helps keep me from being over encumbered. Then I can add more yarn in my next dungeon run!

Can’t make the haul out to New York, but local to PVD? You can catch our soaps with our friends at @smallformatpvd ! Swing by for good sips, good eats, and good smells.

We’ll also be back for Small Business Saturday with @pvdartisansmarket at the @waterfireartscenter so you can catch us there!

This is obviously outside of the conventions control, guests, and artists were also affected and I expect other cons to be similarly affected for a while still.

Would you go again?: Yep! This is one of the few cons I’ll be doing next year—if all goes well.

“We expect a number of 40,000 over the next three days,” said Larry Lepore, general manager of the Rhode Island Convention Center and the AMP. “That number could increase, or it could decrease. We’re really concerned about some travel restrictions.”

A little better than Terrificon and in-line with the reported 40k attendees due the shutdown causing travel problems.

Cons: There were far fewer attendees than I had anticipated, of the 75-100k, they estimated it about 40k due to travel restrictions:

This is my home show, so the only expense I had outside of table was parking, total from sales taking out the table and $15 for a Palestine soap was $1,834.80. Total profit was $1,237.40, and I re-upped my table so -$650, leaving a total profit of $587.40.

On Friday we made table and went into profit, which has never happened before, so that was exciting! Almost all transactions were card, and those who used cash made a point to do so (“cash is king”). Astarion returned to the top seller tier (after yarn), selling 19 Astarion soaps!
November 12, 2025 at 11:51 PM
Everyone was pretty friendly, the attendees were mostly well-behaved, no one tried to eat the soap, destroyed my display, or made bigoted remarks.

Friday had the strongest turnout for our table, and Saturday almost matched it but just missed it by a few sales. Sunday was dead.

Pros: The vibes were pretty good, no glaring issues or problems that we encountered—set-up was smooth.

I didn’t really go out + about + for the most part stayed at my table, but the interactions I had with other artists and in the guest lines on Friday were good!
